HOW TO WRITE A POEM: Easy as 1, 2, & 3
Three weekly guided online sessions for beginning writers.
A practical, playful approach.
This workshop series is designed for adults who are curious about poetry but may feel out of practice, unsure where to begin, or intimidated by the idea of writing poems. The focus is on helping participants write real poems in a relaxed, supportive setting, using clear guidance and simple, accessible exercises.
Each session builds on the previous one, creating a complete experience. Participants write during every session and leave with poems on the page, along with practical tools they can continue using on their own. No prior writing experience is needed, and there is no pressure to share or perform. The emphasis throughout is on creative self expression, attention, and enjoyment, with a clear structure and a calm, encouraging pace. Sessions are 75 min. and held on Zoom.
